Common name: Mandarin Lime
Botanical name: Citrus x Limonia / Rangpur Lime
Mandarin Limes bear fragrant white flowers during Spring followed by juicy fruit that is often used in marmalades, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. They grow well in full sun to part shade and are suitable to be planted in the ground or perfect in a pot. They can be easily trimmed to any desired height and are known to be very productive/plentiful with fruit. The fruit looks like a mandarin but has strong lime taste and suits many recipes that require a strong presence of lime flavour.
