Common name: Olive Tree
Botanical name: Olive Tree Olea Europaea
Olive trees are an attractive evergreen tree that grows 5 -7 meters. They are ideally planted in the ground or in a large pot. They grow well in a full sun position with well draining soil. They make an exceptional productive feature tree with its silvery – grey foliage and grey trunk. They are grown for their fruit, oil and timber. How good would it be picking olives straight from the garden to go alongside a platter of cheeses, meats, crackers, fruit and dips.
